Coronavirus - Covid 19 Protocol at surgery with immediate effect.

The Practice is encouraging all patients to purchase their own personal items for use such as:

Home Blood Pressure monitor -  Pulse Oximeter - and Digital Thermometer

These items are inexpensive and widely available from any pharmacy or online.  They will not only be a useful addition to the home first aid kit but play a vital role in self managing healthcare issues and will enable you to report accurate readings to healthcare professionals either via our online services or during telephone consultations.

Please note that any one with an underlying health condition may receive a call from the surgery to discuss their health.

Suffolk County Council - Virtual Care Response Service

The Suffolk Virtual Care Response is a free service for people who are vulnerable or isolated due to the coronavirus pandemic and have little or no technological ability.  It enables carers, family members and friends to video call via the Carephone to provide care and support virtually rather than face-to-face.  If you would like to learn more about this service please visit and search Carephone.

Blood tests

Problems with NHS supplier, Roche, has led to a temporary shortage of some chemicals we use to process blood tests.  This is a national problem and we are doing everything we can to reduce the impact on our patients.

Temporarily we are having to prioritise clinically urgent tests, but that means that if you are having routine blood tests these will be delayed.

We appreciate this is frustrating and we are grateful for your patience while this matter is resolved.  If any patients impacted are concerned and would like to talk to us please do get in touch.

Join our Patient Participation Group

Dear Patient,

patient surveyWe would like to know how we can improve our service to you and how you perceive our surgery and staff.

To help us with this, we are setting up a virtual patient participation group so that you can have your say. We will ask members of the group some questions from time to time, such as what you think about our opening times or the quality of the care or service you received. We will contact you via email and keep our surveys succinct so it shouldn’t take too much of your time.

We aim to gather around a hundred patients from as broad a spectrum as possible to get a truly representative sample. We need young people, workers, retirees, people with long term conditions and people from non-British ethnic groups.

If you are happy for us to contact you occasionally by email please click the link below to open the sign-up form and complete all the fields.
